  • ORNOS

Protected by wind Ornos beach located south of Korfos, with regular transportation, and a significant number of hotels and restaurants.
Small fishing harbour makes it perfect for anchorage for yachts.
Ornos is one of the most busy and “family” beaches of the island located in the southwest part of it.  The area of Ornos it has now developed into a tourist village. The beach is at the back of a large and fairly safe Ornos bay, facing south.
From the beach of Ornos, Launches start for other known southern beaches of Mykonos (as in Platis Gialos)

 How to get there : Access to Ornos can be made either by the new Ring Road either by the provincial road Mykonos Town – Ag.Ioannis route .
Roads with asphalt and in perfect condition.
Parking : Limited spaces in private own parking spots.

  • PLATY-YIALOS

It is perhaps the most overpopulated beach on the island.
Sheltered by hotels and organised, with umbrellas and sunbeds, addressed to tourists, but is an ideal solution for mothers with children.
It has beautiful beaches, hotels, restaurants and very regular intercourse. The starting point of maritime association with the southern beaches: Paranga, Kalamopodi, Plintri, Agrari, Elia.

  • PSAROU

A fashionable and organized beach with water sports (diving school, etc.) One of the most beautiful beaches on the island with golden sand and emerald waters, which met its great glory in the decade of the’80s, and in recent years collecting virtually all of vip of the island.

  • AGIA ANNA

Small beach, on the right of Kalafatis, with fine sand. There are deckchairs and umbrellas, beach volley area and a wooden stand-shop for refreshments and sunscreens. It is preferred especially by many of those who know the island well, and they want their peace of mind. In Agia Anna is the Diving Center, where you can get lessons or participate in an underwater exploratory trips for beginners or advanced. Besides the Diving Center is the bar for breakfast and coffee or barbecue every Saturday.

  • PARANGA

Pretty small beach with a beautiful landscape (cape Drapanos). Located behind of the beach of Agia Anna and it has one of the two camping on the island. With a wonderful view of Delos, water, electricity, restaurant, mini market, free transportation from the port and frequent local bus service, the Beach is an interesting alternative holiday destination.

  • PARADISE

A beautiful and crowded beach, famous since the days of “hippies.” Great beach with coarse sand, located in the southern part of the island. Two mini markets, newspapers, laundry, water supply and electricity, natural shadow and canes, a restaurant with international cuisine open all day, souvenir shop, Internet, fax, secretarial support, a playground on the beach and so forth. Also rented rooms are available within the premises of the beach.

  • SUPER PARADISE

The most famous beach on the island. The parties arising on the beach, they have been the most important pole of attraction for young and those who feel young.
After the decade of the’50s, has been established as the top place for VIPS. Many people, amazing clubbing and eccentricity to its greatness. If you see someone next to you who admire, do not be surprised.
Do not forget to visit Super Paradise, if you want to live a unique experience with fun to its limits, in the club.
The transition to the Super Paradise can only be done with a privately owned vehicle or by boat from Platis Gialos.

  • AGRARI

Another beautiful beach on the island, most isolated, for those who do not love the crowds. The spectacular, crystal-clear waters will compensate for the difficult journey, the long, sandy beach is divided into left and right hand and has umbrellas and sunbeds, water sports and beach tavern. For some reason that nobody really knows, the « right » piece is the left.

  • ELIA

It is also a beautiful, large and popular beach. Last “stop” of boat transfers, transportation launches from Platis Gialos. One of the most beautiful beaches on the island with white sand, easy access and a good word to describe it would be «Gay friendly».

  • KALO LIVADI

It is also a beautiful, a very popular beach in the southern part of the island.
It is located between Elia and Kalafatis and is one of the biggest beaches in length and in width. The music plays loud from the nearby restaurants .Also features a beach-service for the pleasure of swim and relaxing holiday.
How to get there: The beach can be reached either on a left turn on the road to Kalafati either after the Ano Mera football field. Both roads are with asphalt, and in very good condition.  Also has a “stop” by sea, that launches from Platis Gialos.

  • KALAFATIS

The Blue Flag flies here many summers now! Windsurfing fun, relaxation, water sports, good food, the beach, can combine everything.
A feature of the beach is that there are plenty of trees that offers natural shading and the beach is divided in half for bathers and for lovers of water sports in such a way that everybody can be pleased.

  • LIA

The last of the southern beaches that you can go by car. The road is long and hard, but its beauty will compensate you. Thick sand, emerald waters, umbrellas, deck chairs.. In Lia there is opened the beach restaurant, with wooden deck floor , loud music, bar for a drink and Italian cuisine.

  • FOKOS

There it is .. Mobile offline, complete peace and incredible sand.! A beautiful beach right after the second dam of Mykonos with landscape completely different from normal Cycladic.
Next to fokos is the beach of Mirsini. Here is The beach that you really relax.
How to get there : In the beach can be reached anyone leaving the Ano Mera on the way to Maou, the road is asphalt in good shape, and once you reach the dam of Fokou is unpaved in both directions of the road.

Parking : Right in front of the beach there is a private parking area, that belongs to the restaurant .

  • FTELIA

Windsurfing – air waves and incredible wind ! The best beach for incredible leaps, waveriding and windsurf. North beach located in Panormos Bay with amazing water and sand.
When you are on the western side of the beach throughout the landscape seem like lagoon especially when there is no wind.
The beach is divided in two parts by band rocks leading to the seashore where detected prehistoric facilities of the Neolithic site whose findings are dated 4,500 BC
In the same position is likely to be accepted by the prehistoric period and the tomb of Aianta of Lokrou, hero of the Trojan War, worshiped in Mykonos.
How to get there: On the way to Ano Mera.Follow the signs Part of the road is asphalt .
Parking :  Along the beach and on the laneways road that leads there, there is space for parking of vehicles.
Usually you see caravans and lovers of windsurfing who come and enjoy the amazing waves and the ‘clean air’of Ftelia beach.

  • PANORMOS
  • AGIOS STEFANOS

On the left side of the sea shore,one can find the traditional old Agios Stefanos, chapel. Facing the beach, (east) region of Agios stefanos expands on the hills.
The beach on the left side of the picture is widely known for its huge pebbles “choulakia”and its got its name from them
On the right side you can see the New Port of Tourlos.

  • MEGALI AMMOS

Ten minutes’ walk from the center of Mykonos Town.
beach without any umbrellas and sunbeds because of the fact that there are very strong northerly winds.  One characteristic about the beach and in particular of the bottom of the sea there is a huge slab so it makes it a little difficult to swim.
The beach is suitable for windsurfing undersea fishing and ride by horse from a horse riding school. The closest to Mykonos Town , noticable beach.
How to get there: Even by feet on the way to Ornos. Asphalt road in good condition.
Parking : On the main road above the beach.

  • AGIOS IOANNIS

The beach, looking at Delos and the channel between Mykonos and Delos. It is the beach with the most famous feast of the island, Ai.Giannis at the end of September.
Beach with excellent taverns for lunch, with many villas and four large hotel units.
The beach is recommended for those who want relaxation during their swimming. Water sports, but almost impossible to find umbrellas available at the hotels and restaurants located on the beach.
How to get there: At the beach you can get there by going to Orno. What characterizes the path just before the beach is the great mouria tree to the left of the road and in front of this a group with great fragkosykies.
It is the last major and organized beach on the area.
Following is the small beach of Kapari. The road is asphalt and in perfect condition. Only 3.4 km From the town of Mykonos.
Parking : There is a small square at the end of the road with limited parking space.

  • KAPARI

Small beach after Agios Ioannis beach.
It remains one of the «secrets» of those who know where to go for swim when they want to remain unnoticed . It is also one of the favourite beaches of celebrities
The beach has wide stretch with thin sand and the most amazing view of Delos island. Enjoy the sunset.
You can reach there easily to a certain point by car, but then you have to walk downhill in a very, steep path.
