Lena’s house is a traditional middle-class Cycladic home open everyday to the public. The house takes its name from its owner, Lena Skrivanou, and inside visitors can see furniture from earlier times, gravures and various artifacts and daily usage items.

The items exhibited there include an interesting collection of European and local 19th century furniture placed in its proper positions as well as handy and decorative items of the household (embroideries, mirrors, engravings, etc.). It was named after its last owner, Lena Scrivanou. It is situated in the centre of the town, in Tria Pigadia, next to the Maritime Museum.

 “Lena’s House” is the third branch of Mykonos’ Popular Art Museum. It is a representative middle class ground-floor house, built during the last century.

Besides its’ approximately 10000 volumes (the majority of which belong to the historical library donated by Alex. Meletopoulos), the library houses a large collection of photographs various 18th and 19th cent. Documents, gravures, etc. It is located in the square beside the church of Agia Kyriaki, on the ground floor of a marvelous 18th century mansion.
